Just one of many, I know.
We pulled off the bathroom mirror and found a void for a medicine cabinet, as well as some pink wallpaper. Someone certainly had a thing for pink. We already know that the living room and front bedroom used to be pink (the middle bedroom is pink, but that's a modern paint job).
I've heard lots of horror stories about

wallpaper removal and having to buy certain magic potions to get the adhesive up, but this was actually kind of easy. I had to borrow a scraper from my dad in between the times he was scraping spackle patches, but with a wet sponge it came right up. I just had to wet the paper, pull off the pink top layer, soak the second layer, scrape it up, and finally sponge/scrape off the glue. It helps that it was only a little bit of wallpaper; I'm sure I wouldn't feel the same if it were all over the walls.
