Good Fences Make Good Neighbors

Yay, we have privacy!

Ryan and his dad worked long and hard to put up the new gate and fence between the driveway and the backyard. Now we can use the garage--well, when the door is automated we can--and not worry about running Bunsen over. Also, now no one can see Bunsen from the front, which wasn't the case with the metal mesh gate across the driveway.

Ryan and Uncle Paul put up the perimeter fence by attaching wood beams to the cinderblock using a .22 caliber nail gun (I'm sure that's not the technical term, but it shoots into the wood and cement using special .22 rounds). Then, they attached the fence panels. It's so nice to be able to look out and see fence, rather than into neighbors' windows!
