Beofre & After: Living Room

When we bought our house, the living room was a sickly yellow color and had a mirror affixed over the dirty fireplace, which had a painted hearth.

 

The space is now bright and light (not to mention clean!).  I stripped the paint from the red brick hearth and my dad took down the mirror and patched the wall before painting the room (and the rest of the house).

 The dining area was one of the least offensive areas of the house.

 

But it's still a lot nicer now.
