Before & After: Front Yard

We are at the end of our project, since the house goes on the market tomorrow.  Therefore, I wanted to share before and after photos to show just how far we've come.

Before I get to the photos, here's the listing as it appeared almost five years ago: This Wrigley Heights gem is a SHORT SALE and is priced to sell! Many upgrades throughout include newer plumbing, roof and electrical, refinished hardwood floors as well as 3 spacious bedrooms, inside laundry, vintage kitchen with eating area and family room with fireplace. All of this situated on a 6750 square foot lot, 2 stall garage with attic storage and a large bonus room attached to the garage with a commercial bar, refrigerator and taps.

When we first saw the house, there was a lien on the property because the front yard was overgrown with weeds.
Now, the yard has been nicely landscaped and has had time for the plants to grow in.
The Italian Cypress and bougainvillea were one-gallon plants ($5.98!) just a few years ago.

We didn't have a lawnmower when we first started cleanup, so Ryan was using a weed whacker.
We've since mowed the lawn countless times.  Even that bulging up sidewalk next to Ryan in the above picture has been improved since then.
