After leveling and sloping the soil around the lemon tree to work with the concrete border already in place, I finished it off this morning. I fertilized the tree, tacked down some landscape fabric, then added mulch--organic around the base of the tree and rubber for the rest of the space. We haven't used inorganic mulch yet, so this will be an experiment. Will the dogs chew on the pieces? Will they get scattered all over the lawn?
