A long weekend means we are mixing work with lots of play and will accomplish what we would have in a two-day weekend, rather than more. On Friday, we selected and approved the final granite template, so now the fabrication is in progress. In preparation for installation, we put 3/4 inch plywood on top of the base cabinets yesterday.
We only put in an hour or so on the kitchen today, but we cut and installed most of the base cabinet mouldings. The pieces under the main run of cabinets needed to be glued together, so they're curing now.
But the straight, stand-alone pieces elsewhere were cut and installed easily.
Pay no attention to the dirt on the floor.
