The cabinet trim pieces are coming along, and everything is starting to look more permanent. The same material is used for the toe kick and for filler/trim, but when it's the toe kick, we simply attach clips that go around the cabinet legs. For the filler, we have to glue thick strips of particle board to the back of the trim so there is something substantial to screw into and attach to the cabinets.
As a result, the toe kick pieces and the top trim pieces are done--they're an easy clip on or glue on job.

The side trim pieces, however, have to be glued, clamped, and cured, so they're taking a bit longer. We've only finished one side of the nook, but it looks really nice.
I told Ryan that we have to glue and clamp at least a piece a night this week in order to keep moving along. We'll see if it happens.
