Measure Twice, Cut Once

We started today modifying the window sill that will be above the kitchen sink. The window is recessed, and the frame had been modified before, so we had to build it out in order to attach drywall where it needed to go. We also had to find a sheet of wood the right thickness that we could use as a window sill. 2x4s went in flush with the studs. Then it was time to measure and cut the drywall. Of course, in one piece there's a window cut out plus holes for three outlets and three pipes.
So there was lots of measuring and hoping for the best.
The moment of truth...and with a few shaves, everything fit.
We've now drywalled the entire south wall, which is the longest wall in the kitchen.
