We have to put two layers of drywall in the hallway because of the thickness of the existing rock lath around the space. I cut out some scraps for the first layer. 
And we drywalled over the kitchen side.

Framing in the Door
We framed in the extra doorway today, in addition to hanging more drywall throughout the kitchen.
We have to put two layers of drywall in the hallway because of the thickness of the existing rock lath around the space. I cut out some scraps for the first layer.
And we drywalled over the kitchen side.
It almost seems like a real room now. Almost.
