For our first weekend back on the kitchen project, we started to tackle the drywall. It took a couple hours to get the drywall (we had to rent a truck from Home Depot, and we were about 10 minutes too late at the closest store to get their last truck), and a couple hours to hang the first ceiling piece. To be fair, we started where the most cutouts were required, so it took a lot of finessing. But now, we have one sheet up! Only 26 left to go. Saturday, April 2, 2011
Aloha from Our Kitchen
We spent 10 days in Hawaii forgetting about the kitchen and instead enjoying sights like this.
When we got back, there was a bill for the dumpster waiting for us. Apparently, we'd gone 1.41 tons over the base amount. I never saw the dumpster when it was filled, but Ryan took this photo.
