Poor Bougainvillea

As we were leaving for our luxurious 12-night cruise to Greece, Turkey, and Italy, I snapped one last photo of the bougainvillea as we knew it.  $11.96 and two years time, and it had grown to take over the porch.  But we were getting the house tented for termites while we were gone, so we knew it wouldn't look the same when we returned.

We were right.  Here's the porch this morning, looking like it belongs to an abandoned house.
