Dad is getting rained out of doing any more work in the backyard, but a lot has happened over the last two days. First, he tilled most of the yard.
In the process, he uncovered a row of masonry blocks down the side of the yard, which used to delineate a flowerbed.
He ran conduit and sprinkler wire from the house to the valves next to the garage.
Today, after letting the soil dry for a few hours--it rained overnight and in the morning--he trenched and laid most of the sprinkler pipes.
