I woke up bright and early to get the first coat of paint finished so I could move on to other projects this weekend. Actually, I woke up bright and early because hot weather + no air conditioning + dogs that like to snuggle right up next to you does not equal good sleep.The yellow looks perfect now that it's everywhere. I think the LEDs just don't do it justice at night.
I also enlarged the doorway by an 
inch or two to fit the new French-style doors that will be in the entry to the kitchen. They're pre-hung, and when we took out the old door frame earlier this week, the plaster and new drywall were hanging down past the header. Now, it's ready for doors. But first, I'm off to Home Depot for floor tiling supplies!
