I started the morning by dry fitting the tiles to make sure there wouldn't be any weird grout lines in obvious places. The tiles are a faux-stone ceramic in "Ardesia Blue," which has swirly blue-grays and browns.
Everything checked out, so I was able to start setting the tiles.
Working with large tiles is so much easier than mosaics! I was able to set 32 square feet before my batch of thinset ran out. That's almost as big as the bathroom floor, which took days.
