We've been working on little projects this weekend and last, trying to get closer to the finish line for the bathroom and front yard. Slowly but surely, I've been removing the last bits of grout from the bathroom floor tiles (half clean, half dirty seen here).
Ryan raked out the weeds from the side of the house. The dirt had been pre-tilled thanks to the gopher invasion , so that made things a little easier.
It really was an invasion, by the way. Our neighbors bought traps and the gophers chewed them up instead of getting caught inside. But, we think they've been mostly driven out by this point. Meanwhile, our plants that haven't been eaten are flourishing nicely. We have blooms on the gazanias, which I was afraid were going to die, and both bougainvillea are shooting up.
