With darkness coming earlier and earlier, I have been trying to get in as much work as I can as quickly as possible. But, that's easier said than done. Hacking up the grass and weeds is hard work! Here's the start of the process.
As you may recall, the lawn is about three inches above grade. The level has been going down as I rake out the dead growth, but it's still not quite where it should be. We'll see if some sort of equipment rental is in store. Below, the right is the work area and the left is the intact grass.
