Ryan and his dad did some work on the house while I was on a business trip for five days. The day before I left, I woke up to rain in the bathroom. The last time it rained, we were in Hawaii, and it was probably during that trip when this crack opened up on the ceiling.
The holes in the roof have been patched, and the drywall aired out, but we have the crack as a reminder right now.
They also took down the bottom of the back porch overhang, which had been sagging, leaking, and was home to a bird nest.
They also installed an automatic garage door opener. Of course, our garage is still filled with cabinets, so we can't reap the full benefits of it yet.
