Door? What Door?

The kitchen walls are still quite a work in progress. All the seams are taped and have at least one coat of mud, the screw holes have two coats of mud, and the outside corners are feeling quite neglected as I have yet to get to them.
But, after weeks of mudding and sanding, the former doorway in the hall was ready for primer and paint this weekend. Even with just the first coat of primer, it was already starting to blend in quite nicely.
With a sale on at Sherwin Williams, we couldn't just get primer. So, we taped a bunch of paint swatches (are they swatches, or is that just fabric?) on the kitchen walls to figure out what we liked best. We went with "Midday"--alas, "Moonraker" was too green--a sunny, but not too bright, yellow.Meanwhile, a couple coats of primer and paint went up in the hallway. Tonight, we put in the baseboard, and with one more coat of paint on the wall and trim, it should be done!
