Fun with a Nail Gun

We'd spent Sunday arguing about how we'd build the laundry closet, then measuring once, twice, three times, and then picking up lumber. So tonight, it was about time that we actually did the construction. We rented a nail gun and air compressor, and the fun began. It's a good thing we decided to try the nail gun out on a scrap piece of wood first, since the compressor wasn't fully compressing. The gun was shooting blanks followed by nails only halfway into the wood. A call to Home Depot and some fiddling with the calibration, and we were ready to go. We started with the side of the closet, building it on the ground and then putting it into place.
Then we built the much more complex front portion on the ground and wedged it in.
It's straighter than the existing walls, as we found out when trying to attach the piece, but it's not necessarily 100% right, either.
Still, looks pretty good for our first framing job.
