I cleaned up the front yard this morning in preparation of real landscaping. First, I collected two giant trash bags full of leaves. I don't know where they came from, but I sure didn't expect to find that many. When I pulled out the bag I thought it was way too big for the job. But, now our trash can is filled up because of the leaves.
I was amazed at how clean (and semi-green) the "lawn" looked when I was done. Too bad I then took a gallon of Roundup to it! Everything should die in the next few weeks and then we can start over with real grass.
