O Overly Lit Tannenbaum

We finally have a permanently lit Christmas tree, with more than 2,000 lights.  I just couldn't bring myself to buy a pre-lit tree because the lights are so sparse, even though this was a multi-year project with lots of floral wire and cuts on my fingers.  In the end, I'm happy, because this is what a Christmas tree should look like:

And here is a gratuitous dog picture, since that's all anyone ever asks about.  Watson is basking in the glow of the tree.
