Plant Fill-In

Yesterday, we picked up some new plants to fill in the front yard. I put in 36 gazania plants in Aztec orange, gold, and Christina (pink). They should creep along the ground like vines, so the colors will all blend together. I also worked on putting in some filler where the little white flowers died.

Ryan planted some golden euonymous bushes behind the rose planter. They'll grow quickly and provide a tall backdrop that's been missing--otherwise, the house looks totally bare. We also picked up a red cordyline (not quite planted because the sun went down) that will go next to the rose planter and fill in a big gap.
