Also, the elementary school around the corner has a native plant garden; how cool is that? The signage had the county program's logo on it, so I guess they sponsor it and let the school use it for classes. Since I expected to be in some room or standing around card tables, I was definitely impressed.

Goodbye Forms
After attending a county-sponsored gardening workshop this morning, I spent a couple hours removing the concrete forms.
The cement looks totally professional (as I guess it should, seeing as it was done by professionals) and I can't wait until the next steps--brick and sprinklers--get installed.
Before then, I'll have to remove the excess cement bits that leaked out underneath the forms and everything splattered on the grass.
