Goodbye Forms

After attending a county-sponsored gardening workshop this morning, I spent a couple hours removing the concrete forms. The cement looks totally professional (as I guess it should, seeing as it was done by professionals) and I can't wait until the next steps--brick and sprinklers--get installed.
Before then, I'll have to remove the excess cement bits that leaked out underneath the forms and everything splattered on the grass.

Also, the elementary school around the corner has a native plant garden; how cool is that? The signage had the county program's logo on it, so I guess they sponsor it and let the school use it for classes. Since I expected to be in some room or standing around card tables, I was definitely impressed.
